First Article (PPAP) Part Submittal
The Production Part Approval Process is used to establish confidence in component suppliers and production processes. Here we go step by step to ensure total reliability of the soundness of our products. We also use these processes to ensure the customer’s specifications are intact. Typically, we’ll keep a PPAP Package for our product lines and specifications of each product’s journey from start to finish. These documents require a formal approval from the customer and supplier. The quality engineer reviews the packages and follows the instructions of the customer until they sign off on approval.
Here are some examples of Steps taken:
- Authorized Engineering Change Documents
- Engineering Approval
- Control Plan
- Records of Material
- Sample Production Parts
- Customer Specific Requirements
CoxMHP may require an initial sample inspection report to complete the PPAP process along with an approved Part Submission Warrant. We want to ensure every step of your instruction is followed closely by our employees. That’s why we document and sign off on everything we possibly can. We strive to have integrated solutions for our customers needs, and we enjoy working with each client from start to finish to make every product the best it can be.
