Whether it’s Wire EDM Cutting, Conventional Sinker or Boring we can craft the best product for your project or manufacturing line. Electrical Discharge Machining is a process we use on a regular daily basis. We have completed many of these types of jobs to create tools and dies that are remarkably accurate. With this process, we create a spark discharge to cut through the metal. Tool Steel, High Carbon Steel, Titanium, Kovar and many other materials are utilized depending on the clients need for certain tools.
CoxMHP also uses Conventional EDM methods to create certain products specializing in Titanium and Aluminum materials. This process uses oil that the tool is submerged in. “On and Off Time” helps to allow a cutter to determine how deep the cavity will go. Many of these tools are used in aerospace and automobile industries. These are some of the most precise tools used throughout the world.
CoxMHP often utilizes “free-form machining” for softened products We use cross grids and traces to follow the product from design to completion. Being geometrically sound is of the utmost importance to us. With new applications, we are prepared for every type of manufacturing capability that’s available.
Other applications like CNC Milling and Boring help to create a unique and readily available product. CNC Milling is used for creating a multi axis project. Asymmetric turning is becoming increasingly easier with these systems. Gang Milled, Revolution Marks, Vertical Mills and Bed Mills are all processes that can be used to make a product. When Boring into an existing hole you have to be so precise that you don’t want to damage the product you’re cutting. This process is used to gain greater accuracy in an application.
